  Great atmosphere. The coffee was nothing amazing, but it wasn't bad either. They do use coffee ice cubes for iced coffee, which is nice. It is definitely cozy and fits the atmosphere of the Oregon coast. It's a little tight, so it probably isn't the best place for large groups, but it is nice for a couple friends to get together at for a chat and maybe a magazine.

  My spouse & I stay in Manzanita each August and we've always been very pleased with everything about Expresso & News. Coffee and pastry are tops. Also available: papers, magazines, cold drinks. The outside shady sitting area with its stump tables is a delightfully relaxing and wonderful place to meet friends, make new ones and pet a dog. The whole ambiance and gracious informality here are just great.

  What a surprising delightful little place.
  We had coffee there (vanilla latte) that was better than anywhere else so far in the USA.
  Take the time to visit if you are in the area.

  Counter person was nice and coffee was good.But when you wanted to add 50 cents to my $5.00 order to use a Visa card.Thats when it went bad,I told girl that 99.9999999% of businesses in the WORLD add it into the price ,she said that wouldn't be fair to the others not using a card.????? Hello ? Nice thought .Its just that the owner wants a cash business to hide cash from The I.R.S. Big giant red flag for audits.Just saying.Maybe you could offer a 10% cash discount.And as a business owner too from $1-$20 it's a flat 15 cents for card charges.So your ripping off people with a card.Food for thought to the owner.And maybe an attitude adjustment to the cashier.
